My entry for PumpkingxAngel 's design contest! The first image belongs solely to them, I just wanted to show the theme I was working off! The idea of this contest was to create a design based of the egg, with a catch to keep things interesting! I actually really loved working with the catch, although the color pallet was interesting to work with! To show the toxic theme, I made sure to make her tears and 'sad' expression over the top and hopefully they come off as unnatural, since they're meant to show how manipulative she is! Additionally, the fliers she's holding, which also help with the catch, all have negative meanings in flower language:
Petunias (the purple): can mean "deep resentment" and "trouble" and are lightly poisonous
Lily of the Valley ( the long-stemmed white) : are extremely poisonous and can represent pain, sadness, loss, and tears (fitting for my ever-crying girl here)
Buttercups (the yellow): are invasive weeds and often seen as calling someone stupid or childish if given
