Welcome to the second event of "Scribble Fiesta" – The Poetry Writing Contest.
Be it aesthetically arranging the words and creating a freestyle sequence, or rhyming the words from the core of your ink, or even experimenting with different meters, styles to flesh out that pitch perfect, ooh-worthy poetry – we invite you to have a look at the prompts and get creative for a whole month!

📌 For this contest, there are going to be a total of six rounds, where we will be posting eight prompts every round. You can either pick your prompt, compose a poetry piece, and publish during the seven days until new prompts are published, or you can compile them and write all the poetries after completion of six rounds and submit before the given deadline.
On a positive note, let's start Round 1 of the Poetry contest. Here are the prompts to tickle your creative cells:

ꗃ A person can see what they fear the most when they look into the mirror, compose a poem on what they see through that mirror.

ꗃ Imagine wherever you are right now that the clock stops and all the people in the world are frozen in place. What are they doing?
ꗃ Change a serious topic into a satirical poem
ꗃ Take any of your favorite songs, use the opening line of that track to open your poetry entry, and the ending line of that lyrics should be the ending line of your poem. In between the two lines, use your creativity and draft an original verse.

ıllı ﹐ The deadline for poetry contest is 15th June 2023, 11:59 PM EST. ⊂⊃
ıllı ﹐ Your written poetry piece must be between 10-12 lines only. ⊂⊃
ıllı ﹐ The entries must be written in English. ⊂⊃
ıllı ﹐ Your entry must be an original piece written solely for the contest. No copying/pasting either. ⊂⊃
ıllı ﹐ You can create a new book for Scribble Fiesta's entries and write the poetries in it. Or you can also publish the pieces in an existing poetry book of yours, with the title "Scribble Fiesta: Poetry 1" and so on. ⊂⊃
ıllı ﹐ There is no compulsion for participating in all the six rounds, you can choose to enter in as many as you wish. However, the more you write, the more chances you have of winning. ⊂⊃
ıllı ﹐ The poetry can be in any form, meter, style. ⊂⊃
ıllı ﹐ Submit your entries through the form given inline. You've to submit only one book link in which all your poetries from the contest have been published. ⊂⊃
⨳ʬʬ Submission form for poetry contest will be opened by the end of May, you have to submit the whole poetry book in which all your entries are, not one by one. ⌕
