The lump in my throat and ache in my heart is but a minor thing, but then it's also a very big thing, when I look upon our worlds history. It's all wonders and disasters, humanity in its purest form the ugly and the kind laid bare for us all to see, for some of us remember. still grieving and healing.
Quoted from a film, I'll never forget, like a lightbulb moment 'ping' it says so much but in so little words "wait till you see it, what man can do to another man".
Disgust, fear, sadness and embarrassment are the emotions that consume me, an not even the world as it is now can console me.
I've always loved history, a relationship that can be very tiring and an emotional roller coaster at times.
It's the wars and battles that draw me in.
