Meanwhile, Karen and Daniel doing research for Blade and Nightingale's blood while making a cure. "It was simple. Why do vampires need to drink blood?" Karen asked, getting up from the chair to get some supplies. "'Cause their own blood can't sustain hemoglobin." Whistler responded, sitting next to the computer and watching them. "Right. It's a genetic defect, just like hemolytic anemia." Karen said while grabbing items. "That means, we have to treat it with Gene therapy..." Daniel explained, looking at the blood sample and taking notes.
