I stare at the TV and zone out with the noise happening upstairs. Brandon came back from work and Rhea was about to get ready for her night shift but soon ended in a loud quickie. I can't have my daughter around these two clowns. I wonder how she's doing with Leo.

"Shit." I realise I forgot to fill in that form. I grab my phone and open the form. I curse to myself when I notice it's in Microsoft Word. I need a laptop. I get up and run to Brandon's office and grab his laptop. I still remember his password from the last time I borrowed it to look for some job advertisements.

I type in the password and quickly log in with my email address then send the form. I read through it and fill in the form with my details.

Once I finish, I send it back to my phone and straight to Xara's contact. I delete any evidence left behind and close the laptop.

"What are you doing."

I screech and get up from the chair and see Brandon behind me.

"I was looking for houses and other job advertisements." I lie even though that's what I'm planning to do in the near future.

"I don't believe you. You were in my documents."

"I was going to write a CV and maybe a cover letter once I start applying."

He leans against the bookshelf and looks at me with a raised eyebrow.

"I was trying to get away from the noise you were making upstairs." I rolled my eyes, half of it being the truth. "I guess we're done here." I smile walking past Brandon only to be pulled back. "No we're not."

I glare at him and fold my arm over my chest. "Are you planning on getting a job?" He asks.

"Yes, I can't live using someone else's money, I need to make a living."

"So that means you'll be leaving too." He questioned.

"Yes."

"You don't have to." He begs.

"I can't do that, I feel like a burden and obviously your girlfriend has made that clear. It's really weird staying with my ex-boyfriend and her girlfriend. I just need my own space and privacy so that I can also spend more alone time with my daughter. She can't stay here with people who don't have self respect and make sexually loud noises. I won't let y'all corrupt my child." I rant and make my way to the door.

He pulls me again but this time he lands a kiss and places his hands on my waist. "Please don't go." He whispers.

" He whispers
