Moon and Sun

It was a story untold,
that the stars unfold.
He was the moon,
and she became the sun to swoon.

He, the shadow, bathed in her sun's embrace,
dancing along in the glow of their celestial grace.
As they gaze upon the starless night,
still all bright in the moon's light.

She, the light, twirled upon a melody of gloom,
feeling the magic all around the moon.
As they gaze upon the cloudless sky,
their hearts soar high, with no limits to defy.

Beneath the rays of golden light,
as he found delight.
Upon a silvery beam,
she drifted into a lustrous dream.
