The next day everyone woke up and got ready except Gauri who was still sleeping.

"Gauri kaha par hai"Karan asked frowning settling upon the chair for breakfast.

"Mai dekhkar aata hu"Arun said worried.

He walked to her room and opened the door.

He frowned seeing her still sleeping.

"Gauri beta utho"He said lovingly.

He switched on the lights not getting her reply.

He moved closer to her and placed his hand on her forehead. He widened his eyes in shock. She was burning in fever.

All others too came up to her room as they were worried why Arun was taking so much time.

"Kya hua"Karan asked corncerned.

"Isko fever hai bhaiya"Arun said tensed.

Sanjana walked closer to Gauri and sat beside her. After a few calls Gauri woke up.

She opened her eyes and frowned to see everyone standing there.

"Aap sab yaha kya kar rahe hain"She said frowning attempting to sit up but stopped because of her headache.

"Ahh my head is paining" She said holding her head.

She started coughing and sneezing continuously.

Karan rubbed her back and offered her water.

Jai brought thermometer and gave to Sanajana who checked Gauri's temperature.

"101 fever hai"Sanjana yelled tensed.

"Doctor ko bulau?"Ashish said tensed sitting on the other side of the bed.

"Nahi papa uski zarurat nahi hai"Gauri said sneezing.

"Zaroorat hai papa bulaiye doctor ko"Karan said and Ashish nodded.

"Tum teeno jao school"Karan said looking at the brothers.

"Nahi mai kahi nahi jaunga Gauri bemaar hai"Dheeraj said.

"Mai bhi nahi"Jai and Arun said.

"Jao teeno mai hu yaha. Mai nahi jaaraha aaj office"Karan said firmly.

"Par bhaiya Gauri bemaar hai"Arun whined.

"Jao"Karan ordered firmly.

The brothers left making faces.

The doctor came after a while and started checking Gauri.

"Fever to bohot tez hai cough cold bhi hai"The doctor said.

"Ekdam se kaise bemaar hogaye ye doctor"Karan asked.

"Because of tiredness. Overwork kara hai isne"The doctor said checking her.

Karan looked at Gauri and she looked down.

"Raat ko kitne baje soi thi?"Karan asked firmly sitting beside her.

She didn't answer.

"Bolo"He said harshly.

"5..5 a.m."She said meekly.

"Amazing"Karan clapped his hands.

"Kya kar rahi thi"Karan asked firmly. He very well knew she must be studying.

"Vo bhaiya..kuch kaam pending tha bas complete kar rahi thi pata hi nahi chala kab itni der hogai"She said looking down.

"You had cold at night?"Karan asked dangerously.
