Do you ever feel the words?
The weight of them, on the tip of your tongue
Different concoctions of tender joy and warmth;

Feeding people, from the tip of your tongue
Your beauty is beyond our compliments
In the form of happiness—
Such a kind soul
And gratitude.
His brilliancy, such an illustrious prodigy!

Creating smiles that dance, linger, and dance all over again:
Clumsy adjectives, genteel verbs and innocuous nouns
All flowing from your mouth
Out and about!

Then the clumsy adjectives are vicious and vile,
And the verbs no longer genteel
Followed by nouns spat with disgust and ill-humor

All from the tips of our tongues

Pouring a harsh assortment of words,
a torrent of rage, a deluge of aggression!
Raining them—again and again
In the form of anger and angst combined.

That one resembles a pig.
Uncanny, it seems!
She sleeps where she should not.
How strange?
We can't let an autistic kid ruin our glory!

Words, beautiful yet ugly;
They, elegant but dirty:
Nurtured on the very tip of our tongues.
