Shush now, darling, don't cry
Mama's voice will lull you to sleep.
Fall into slumber, the world is bustling
Mama's treasure is yours to keep. But mama, my mind, it hurts
Gravity doesn't defy the falling bombs.
Your lullabies – like the world – are quiet
Mama, there's a shiver in your palms.Hush hush, my fallen star
The world is unmindful of your dreams.
The disquiet is the doom looming
of your whispered screams.Mama, why do I feel the presence
of a brutal storm in my mind?
Are we going to die while the
World turns blind?
