She is lost,

Lost to her thoughts,

Lost to the noise of the world.

She swore she was invisible,

Too small to be heard,

Too transparent to be seen.

She says she's happy,

Her eyes betray her,

For they once had a sparkle to them.

She loves and she trusts,

She swears loving and trusting feel like she's on the outside of the glass screaming at those inside,

They ignore her.

She is haunted by the feeling of not being enough,

She says her life is complicated,

She deceives herself,

She knows her life is as black and white as it comes,

She lies to give an explanation for why she feels all these things,

She is tired and scared,

She wishes she was strong like them,

She recedes further into her box.

She is me.

She was me.

She is no longer.
