Why do we try so hard to be pretty?
Is it because of social media's pressure to be perfect?
I know that answer,
Because I once went through the phase,
Of trying so hard to fit in.
Wearing the same clothes that the popular girls did,
Trying on makeup so I would feel pretty,
My acne scars all covered up.
But,
What you truly are inside,
That is the beauty.
Don't try to be perfect,
Just be yourself.
Do you know why?
Because perfection don't exist and N E V E R will.
