Months pass by,
Seasons changing,
My heart still clings to you
Your face
Your words
Are still fresh in my mind
No matter how hard I try to forget you
You still show up in my dreams at night
I still see your face on social media
Reality hits me like a tsunami when I realize
I am not good enough for you
No, scratch that
I am too good for you
I am too kind to you
I care too much about you
So you push me away
Not realizing what you are doing is creating a deep pain inside me.
Not realizing that you found a person who truly cares.
