"Ooh! You would look so pretty in this!"

I look at the red piece of fabric in my moms hands. She holds it up and it's a dress. It's simple, a silk spaghetti strap dress, but it's gorgeous. Because I'm simple, and it's so me, that I can't disagree.

"Here," my mom says, "Try it on."

I take it and hurry over to the dressing rooms. I slip the dress on and examine myself. It gives me curves in all the right places. I just don't know where I would wear it.

Then it hits me.

Homecoming is on Friday, a week from now.

Homecoming + Olivia = go me!

I grin. "Hey, mom! I think I need some roses."
