while we were in Ontario, daddy & I also got started on & finished your northern nurseries.
that's right, you have | T W O | bedrooms in Canada.
in the city of Toronto daddy has a condo, it's very much a "bachelor pad" but it also has an incredible view so we have decided to keep it until maybe, just maybe, we move back to Canada after daddy retires.
so in the high rise condo your bedroom looks like this,

it has bright white walls, a blush pink crib, hints of our favorite | victory green | & flashes of gold. it's a true minimalist design, but the view out the window is what really sells the space.
typically, when we're visiting Canada in the summer daddy & I spend most of our time out at his cabin on a lake outside of Toronto. so we decided to build you a nursery in that house too so you'll have your own space to grow in while also enjoying the outdoors.
because it's a cabin, & we don't spend all that much time inside anyway, we went pretty neutral & rustic with the design.

the room is very calming, not too girly, & it has a gorgeous view of the water. I hope you love it & that we can watch you grow up in this very room.
speaking of the water, daddy & I spent so much time out on the lake this trip. just fishing, soaking up the sun & spending time together with zero stress.

tomorrow i am heading back to Dallas & I am not ready to leave. mostly because I have to leave your daddy behind.
Tyler, your daddy, does a lot of training in Toronto over the summer & because I'm not on maternity leave yet I have to head back home without him.
it sucks.
we've done the distance before, every summer to be exact, but with your birth pending I'm anxious for Tyler to be all the way in another country.
