If you're a Warriors fan who has no idea who Jake is, I don't blame you.
Without spoiling too much, Jake is someone Tallstar meets in the Super Edition story "Tallstar's Revenge". Go read that if you haven't.
With that said, I don't really see this, it seems really forced. "Oh they met one time we must ship" kind of mentality.
