The pretty boy stared at him with wide eyes full of shock, his small body trembling slightly. In the background, faint chokes could be heard as one of the fairies choked on a pink 100s and 1000s that she had stolen from Liriope's fairy bread.
Luther's eyes also widened to saucers as he saw the boy sway, appearing to almost collapse. In all his worry, he ignored the sluggishness that was caused by his recent injuries and stood up, bolting forward to capture the boy in case he did end up fainting.
And like any other cliche romance, Liriope collapsed into his awaiting arms.
Seeing the frail-looking boy collapse into his arms, Luther frowned. In a way to soothe the unconscious boy, he sent a bit of his own magic through. Seeing the tensed up male relax, Luther was overcome with the urge to mate the boy.
Moving Liriope to a comfier spot against his chest, Luther ignored the protests of the three fairies and left his little Spirit's home in favour of his own.

Luther had carried the boy miles away from his homely forest cabin, much to the annoyance and displeasure of the three fairies who refused to leave the unconscious boy's side. At first, they launched magic attacks on to him but after a while, the girls realised he was a very rare dragon and they had no hope.
It also explained why Liriope was so urgent and extra-careful and loving when looking after the injured dragon. It was in his instincts to love the dragon and with the species numbers dwindling alongside the Wood Spirits, this compulsion would have been tripled.
They just hoped that the dragon wouldn't impregnate their friend while he was asleep and without his consent...
And that was why they must stay by his side — in order to protect his holy chrysanthemum. Yes, they cannot let this man steal away their precious friend's butt virginity (and all his other virginities he somehow managed to keep for 1000+ years) without a huge wedding.
Even if they were 'modern' teens, they still held some value of their traditions. Marriage before sexy time has always been regarded highly amongst their fairy tribe, even the younger fairies preferred to keep it and remained pure.
And they were sure Liriope wouldn't wish to conceive a child without knowing the man, not being married to the man or not even being conscious when the child was conceived. Spirits often considered their children extremely sacred, especially Wood Spirits. Often in cases in which a Wood Spirit was raped and gave birth, they could not leave their rapist for they were the parent of their child. It was sad and depressing that because of the world's unlimited love for the dragons, the Wood Spirits were caused to suffer immensely.
All they could do to prevent their friend's possible fate was to interrupt the dragon every time he dared molest Liriope. They would be there, always ready to attack and prevent. And if they could not hold their ground for long enough, they would contact their tribe to assist them.
