Welcome to the first season of the Regal Awards!
Created to aim the spotlight at the undiscovered authors hiding behind the curtains, the awards invite you to fight for that crown you've been destined for.

1. Each judge will be assigned books from one of their preferred categories.
2. You will be required to read at least five chapters of each assigned book, unless it's a short story, where you'll have to read the whole story.
3. Send in your scores by the deadline assigned.
4. You're to PM me a short review of the eliminated book, focusing on where there's scope for improvement, and what you loved about the book. Comments are optional.
5. The winners will be announced, by totalling the scores sent in for each book by each judge, signaling the end of the season..
Important Note
The number of books you're assigned to read may change, depending upon the number of participants and the judges.
If you won't be able to meet the deadline, for whatever reason, please PM me so I can assign the book to someone else. While you're not compelled to judge all the books you're given, it would be a great help if you would. I do not wish to overbear anyone, so don't hesitate to say so if you can't finish all the books assigned :1
