Like Father Like Son

Chapter 1

It's happening again.

Shion was drowning in darkness. Nothing could be seen anywhere around him. He was losing hope fast. He closed his eyes and eventually gave up as he sank deeper into the darkness.

Was this really the end?

Is this really how he would die?

Shion groggily extended his arm towards the surface, reaching for something, anything, to help him.

To save him.

But he still sank hopelessly into the deep, dark lake. He was alone in complete darkness. No one would save him. No one could save him. No one.

Or so he thought.
