Day 1

   I arrived at school at 10:00 AM . I was deliberately late considering today was the last day . I just had to stay until 12:00 . I hopped out the car , told my mom bye , hung my head down , & began to slowly walk into the building .

I went straight to class & sat down . "Damnnn . How the fuck you gone be late on the last day !? Fat ass was somewhere eating . Fat ugly nasty ass !" said a boy named Dre to another boy loud enough so not only I , but the whole class could hear . Everybody erupted in laugher . I stormed out with tears stinging my eyes . I'm done putting up with this shit ; it's the last day .

I went into the nearest restroom & just sobbed quietly to myself thinking about how badly I've been treated this year . I remained in a stall until my phone read 11:59 . I started towards the main entrance when I was bumped . I turned around to see Kiara . "BITCH , YOU BETTA WATCH THA FUCK OUT ! DAFUQ !"she yelled shoving me again . I kept walking outside . "Yea , bitch . Dafuq . Just big for nothing ." She flipped her hair & pushed past me once again .

I arrived to the front of the building where my mom was already waiting . "Ma , I'm not going into 9th grade looking like this . You been telling me for the longest tha-" "I know , baby . I know . Gym membership . I'm sorry . I'm always busy . Tell you what , me & you can go right now ." She said pulling out of the parking lot . I smiled .

We arrived at X Fitness shortly . I followed my mom into the building . We where immediately greeted by a perky white lady wearing a X Fitness shirt . My mom explained to her how she was looking to get me a gym membership  . They discussed options while my eyes wandered , observing all the machinery & people working out . I began to imagine how good I would look with clear skin , a nice body , & long hair . My thoughts where interrupted by my mom calling my name . The lady that greeted us began to explain to me how I had access to everything in the gym except massages due to the fact that I'm only 15 , but I could come whenever I pleased . "So , do you wanna do it ?" My mom asked . "Yea ! Ima start today , ma . Take me home to change !!" I couldn't stop my smile from forming . "How much is it ?" My mom asked . "80.00$ . Then you will begin paying only 10$ every 3 months ." The lady responded ." Mom sighed , reached into her pursed , & handed her a 100$ bill . She gave mom her change & handed me a tablet to sign myself in . She then asked me what size I wore in tops & bottoms . This confused me , but I answered anyways . "Extra large in tops . Large in bottoms ." I said quietly . She smiled & went to the back . When she came back , she had a shirt with matching sweats . All yours she said with the same smile as she handed them to me . I took the clothes & looked back at my mom . " I'll call you when I'm ready ." She nodded  & walked out the door .

I rushed to get changed in the locker room . On my way back to the gym , I noticed a scale near the lockers . I shoved my clothes into a empty one on the bottom row . I removed my shoes & stood on the scale . "202.5" is what it read . I placed my shoes back on , left the locker room , & began my first workout on a treadmill . I stayed on for atleast 40 minutes . It's hard , but it's worth it . I continued working out for 2 more hours until I called my mom back . Once I made it home , I collapsed on my bed & fell straight asleep .

First day at the gym was a success ....
