~Flashback~

Amparo's POV

I stared at the razor on the bathroom counter.

So many thoughts were racing through my head.

I already had the water running in the tub.

when it got to about halfway I turned off the water.

I took the razor in my hands and I sat in the tub.

I held the razor to my wrist.

But I just couldn't get the blade to reach my skin.

I could only imagine cutting the line down my arm.

I forced myself to put the cold blade to my wrist.

A knock at the door stopped me.

I tossed the razor into the trash can and quickly got out of the tub.

There was another knock.

"Ampy sweetie."

"Yes mom?" I spoke.

"Are you almost done? Your sister has something planned for us."

"Mom I... I really don't feel like going anywhere." I leaned against the door.

"Honey, I know things haven't been going well for you and your sister but you can't lock yourself away honey."

"Mom I can't so this anymore." My voice began to break. "I can't deal with Jessica tormenting me anymore."

"Honey. we will get through this I promise."

"You might but won't."

"Honey, I am here for you and so is your sister and your father."

"Mom... I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Something's happened."

"Tell me what's wrong."

"I'm pregnant."

"Was it-"

"Yes mom it was! He did it to me again! If Jessica finds out she'll kill my baby."

"Honey just come out please."

I took a deep breath and opened the door for her.

I quickly went straight into her arms and held her tight.

"Lets go with your sister honey. Let us help you cheer you up. And I'll be here with you though everything." She kissed the top of my head.

"I love you mom."

"I love you too Amparo. Lets go."

I nodded and slowly let her go.

"Why did you bring us here Jade?"

She brought us to a venue. It was mostly used for quinceaneras or sweet sixteens. Events like that.

But today it was empty. Just a few chairs and tables leaned up against the wall.

"We're waiting for someone." She responded.

"Who?" Mom asked.

"Jessica."

My heart dropped. "No. No! I refuse to see her!" I screamed at Jade.
