"Yesterday I died, tomorrow's bleeding
I fall into your sunlight
The future's open wide, beyond believing
To know why hope diesI'm losing what was found, a world so hollow
Suspended in a compromise
The silence of this sound, is soon to follow
Somehow, sundownAnd finding answers
Is forgetting all of the questions we called home
Passing the graves of the unknownAs reason clouds my eyes with splendour fading
Illusions of the sunlight
The reflection of a lie will keep me waiting
With love gone, for so longAnd this day's ending
Is the proof of time killing all the faith I know
Knowing that faith is all I holdAnd I've lost who I am, and I can't understand
Why my heart is so broken, rejecting your love
Without love gone wrong, lifeless words carry on
But I know, all I know, is that the end's beginningWho I am from the start, take me home to my heart
Let me go and I will run, I will not be silent
All this time spent in vain, wasted years, wasted gain
All is lost, hope remains, and this war's not overThere's a light, there's the sun
Taking all the shattered ones
To the place we belong, and his love will conquer allYesterday I died, tomorrow's bleeding
Fall into your sunlight"Shattered, Trading Yesterday

She was lying on her back, the pain not giving her rest.
Salazar Slytherin laid down next to her.
"Wasn't death supposed to be painless?" Evelyn hissed exasperated.
"Maybe. All that power... now wasted" he said bitterly.
"So will you leave me alone now? Is death so boring?".
"You were expecting someone else to be waiting here for you?" he teased.
Evelyn felt the pain getting worse and struggled. It couldn't last forever. But if that pain could torment her even in her death, then how could she escape it?
"Can this pain just stop?".The agony didn't give her rest.
Evelyn coughed to free her lungs.
Wasn't death supposed to be painless? And did she still need to breathe?
She felt pain everywhere. Her body never felt so heavy and annoying.
"Drink this" a voice said placing a glass by her lips to help her swallow some liquid.
That voice was already a painkiller.Evelyn forced her eyes open, hating the light that seemed too strong, and rested them on the wizard standing next to her bed. She stared until finally her eyes could focus on his features.
"I thought the Limbp, the afterlife was better than this".
He chuckled nervously then kneeled next to her, his long fingers caressing her face.
"You are not dead, Evelyn" he said firmly "I'm truly here".
It sounded like a paradox, but she didn't want to wake up.
"Richard?" she asked, feeling her heart aching more strongly.
"He is alive too" he assured "He is already recovering. I can't let him in because he is still shocked too".Alive, she mentally repeated. That word sounded so good, but her mind filled with horrible memories.
"The dementors..." she hissed gasping, but froze when he grabbed her hand to calm her down.
"They weren't supposed to be there. Nothing was supposed to go the way they went. You are safe now. Try to forget it".
Forget. That wasn't something she wanted. She needed to understand, and to remember every detail to give sense to that reality.
"Was that a Patronus then?".
"Yes. I managed to cast a Patronus" he said emotionally and admitted "I feared that I arrived too late".
She scoffed "What a bad angel you are, Tom. I've missed you".
"I missed you too. I'm sorry for not having being able to come back sooner".
She frowned peering at him. He kept speaking nonsense "You are dead. And so I am".
Taken aback, he tried to correct her "No, Evelyn. We are both alive, I swear. You are free to kill me with your hands when you'll be strong enough. But you're under a severe magical exhaustion. You need a lot of rest".
