Aidas pov :

I woke up full of energy . The fever was gone and the sun shone into my room powerfully making me smile. Elise and some maids went in after some time to clean and help me get ready for today's schedule. I was dressed in a beige satin dress with a golden flower belt. My hair is loose with a tiara on my head. I smiled when I saw my reflection in the mirror . I took a deep breath .

- you can do it. I told myself that before I turned around and began to walk out of my wing with elise . The first thing on my schedule was to meet up with the queen for a cup of tea with some other ladies. Most of them are from aristocratic families , the families who live for the culture and power . They will do everything to get to their goals even if it means someone suffering. Some aristocrats are with the crown while some are snakes waiting for the perfect chance to attack.

The ladies stood up and bowed before sitting again. most of them were in the queens age while the other part were in mine. But I am fully aware of why they are here . Ladies and gentlemen let me present you to the most dangerous game in the word. Where the ladies get information about political matters and the younger ones try to catch some older ladies' eye to create an alliance. Some of them are out to get something bigger like catching the queen's attention to be put in the prince harem or promoting their title.

Anyways it is fun to watch. I sat with the elders as respect to the queen , they talked about economic income by the jewelry stores they have been opening. One of the ladies , countess Katy began to look my up and down with a disgusted face.

- you don't wear much jewelry princess.

She looked at me with a smirk, usually the weight and amount of jewelry you wear gives you your price in the cirkel , are you worthy of the time they are going to give you ? and because I was only wearing a simple tiara , small earrings and my engagement ring.

- jewelers can make your movement difficult under training or fighting so I rather keep it simple.

- Ah of course I forgot that you led a force , isn't it difficult

- as long you know and believe in yourself nothing can be difficult.

- no sweety I mean handling the men.

. it is not , they need to see that you respect them so they can give you respect back and please don't call me sweetie countess.

The countess looked annoyed with my answer and that made me more proud. I know that she wants her daughter to be the next queen at every price . There was a rumor that said that she even took the matter up in one of the balls in front of everyone . Pathetic .

- I apologize for your highness , but I am a bit worried about the kingdom's future.

- What do you mean katy.

The queen's question got everyone in the room's attention and all eyes were on us now.

- you know you majesty ? Her highness is very small , too small if I can be honest and I don't think That her body will bear any children and even if it happens I don't think her highness will get out of it alive.

Everyone in the room got shocked at what the countess said. No one dares to say that to a royal family but she dared to play with the fire. but she isn't wrong , even if I hold so much power my body is very weak and I get sick very easily. But even the wounds on my body will have that matter later. My belly has received so many scars and I don't think it will. The thoughts hit me and the ideas began to run in my head , the tears threatened to fall and holding them back got harder. And with the first tear falling down the queen got up , she looked at the countess with rage before a storm got our attention.

- Don't you dare to say anything more.

He stood next to the door and the anger was about to explode from him as he came closer. Everyone stood up and bowed, keeping their heads down . I feel how he got closer to me . I didn't look up and kept my head down but he put his fingers under my chin and lifted my head to look him in the eyes. He wiped away the tears that fell with his thumb as he kissed my forehead and put me behind him shielding me from the eyes of others.

- How do you dare to make the future queen cry. Is your life so unworthy.

The countess fell on her knees pleading , the tears fell down from her cheeks and her voice got shaky. He signed to the queen to take care of the countess before he turned and met the eyes of the other women.

- If I never see or hear that one of you made her highness cry I will cut you open and hang you outside the kingdom's walls so everyone can see what happens if you disrespect
