Three days passed and Draco was having a blast with his two sons

Hermione would be coming home again and he hoped that finally he could take her out on a date

They were at Grimmaulds Place so that the boys could play with James and Alexander

And Draco needed to talk to Potter

Had someone told him years ago that he would have befriended Potter, he would have cursed them and then ruined their life

Now he could tolerate Potter

He still prefers She-Potter

"How has the days been?" Potter asked as he put a glass of lemonade in front of Draco

"There was a day where both boys ganged up on me and didn't go to sleep until three in the morning but other than that it's been good" Draco told him

"The boys are getting along well then?" Potter asked him

Draco nodded in confirmation

"Oh! I figured out who kept denying your appeal to adopt Teddy, it's Jack" Potter said

Draco groaned loudly and ran a hand through his hair

"Of course it is" Draco muttered

"I could talk with someone from the DLME who specializes in social work, maybe they could help your case" Potter offered

Draco took a sip of his drink

"What time is it?" Draco asked

"Six" Harry responded

"We have to go pick up Granger" Draco said and stood up

"Hey Malfoy" Potter spoke up "don't hurt her again" he ordered

Draco nodded and left the kitchen, he called for Teddy and Scorpius who came running and joined him in the greeting room

"Ready to go?" Draco asked

"Are we going to go pick up mummy?" Scorpius asked

Draco nodded

Scorpius quickly put on his jacket and was bouncing by the fireplace

"Keep acting like that Scorp and I'll think you want to get rid of me" Draco smirked

Scorpius giggled

"Come on" Draco said as he took Scorpius and Teddy's hands, Potter threw in some powder and called out the ministry of magic

They stepped through the flames and Scorpius started sneezing

Draco chuckled and cleaned them all up before leading them towards the Department of Transportation

Scorpius was all but dragging them along

They finally reached the department and Scorpius let go to go greet his awaiting mother

Hermione laughed and knelt down in time for Scorpius to jump into her arms, she kissed his curls and hugged him tightly, she stood up and looked at Draco who was smiling softly

Her heart burst with the new information she had procured during her trip

She was ready to take that risk with him

But she knew she had to tell him about the kiss

She walked up to Teddy and Draco, she hugged Teddy and kissed his hair before turning to Draco

"Hi" she whispered

Draco went up to her and kissed her forehead

"Hi" he whispered back
