Chapter 12

Everyone found their key except for Hayley who only looked in places she had a moment with Hope

Klaus found his key in his art room -

"Daddy?" A 7-year-old Faith asked walking into a room she had never been in before

Klaus looked over to his youngest daughter "Are you, okay darling?" Klaus asked

"What are you doing?" Faith asked her dad walking over to where he was sitting

Once she reached him, Klaus picked her up and sat her on his leg, and gave her a paintbrush

"I am painting, join me?" Klaus asked as she took the paintbrush from his hand and they started painting together -

Klaus smiled at the memory that came with his key

"Ugh Hayley is frustrating me, she is complaining how she can't find her key but she isn't even looking in the right places," Rebekah said shouting a little bit

Klaus sighed "While she fails to find her key let's find it for her because she doesn't know Faith at all," Klaus said and Rebekah nodded as she already found her key

*Same place Rebekah's key was in The Originals, in Hope's Chambre De Chasse*

Elijah found his key in the library taped to a book -

"What are you reading?" A 7-year-old Faith asked

*In all the flashbacks in this chapter, Faith is 7 years old*

"A very old book that you won't understand until you are older sweetheart," Elijah said as he put the book on the stand next to his chair

Faith held her arms up and Elijah picked her up sitting her on his leg

"Read me something?" Faith asked and Elijah smiled standing up placing her on the floor going to grab a kids book from the shelf

"What book is it?" Faith asked

"If you give a mouse a cookie," Elijah said looking at the title and then grabbed Faith placing her back on his leg

"I don't think I have ever read this story so why don't we read together?" Elijah asked and Faith smiled nodding as Elijah opened the book and helped her read the words -

Elijah smiled as he remembered her laughing every time she messed up

He loved that she laughed instead of getting frustrated

Kol found his key in his room where he helped Faith with a spell and helped her prank, Klaus -

*The spell was to make her invisible*

"Kol have you seen Faith?" Klaus asked walking into his room

Kol shook his head trying not to laugh "I haven't seen her today"

Klaus sighed "She has been missing for two hours and she needs a bath"

As Klaus went to leave a bucket of paint fell on his head

Klaus looked up to see his daughter sitting on a plank that was over Kols door then he turned to glare at Kol who was dying laughing

"Get her down and give her to Hayley so she can give her a bath," Klaus said slowly and left the room going to clean the paint off of him

"Is he mad?" Faith said softly as Kol helped her down

"Nik is always mad darling when you finish your bath he should be in a better mood," Kol said and Faith nodded -

Kol laughed as he remembered Klaus' face when he turned around

"Did you find your key?" Klaus asked and Kol nodded "Help us find Hayley's," Klaus said and the two brothers walked off to find Rebekah and Elijah

Freya found her key in her room where she helped Faith stop crying after Klaus left - 

"Faith calm down before you explode something," Freya sighed as she found Faith crying in her room

"He is gone Auntie Freya," Faith whispered and Freya walked over to her and picked her up to take Faith to her room

They sat on Freya's bed as she held Faith so she would calm down

"Feel a little better?" Freya asked and Faith nodded

"Good because someone wants to talk to you," Freya said and Faith looked up at her confused "Your dad bought you this phone so whenever you needed him, you could call him because he knows he is your favorite parent," Freya said and Faith laughed and took the phone from her

"All you have to do is click this button under his name and he will answer," Freya said and Faith nodded

"I will call him later," Faith whispered as she cuddled into Freya and fell asleep on her chest 

Freya smiled and wrapped her arms tighter around Faith to keep her in place as she fell asleep -

Freya smiled holding her key but immediately frowned as she heard Klaus yelling at Hayley

She ran down the stairs and saw the whole family watching them yell at each other until suddenly Klaus stopped yelling and the four originals started screaming in pain
