SIX MONTHS HAD PASSED AND RONNIE was on track to getting the spot as Valedictorian. After sending her sister off with the rest of her family, she decided to turn things around for herself. And that's exactly what she did - she took a few extra courses over the summer and a college class to help with her GPA; at times it was frustrating, difficult and there were days when she wanted to give up, but this was her ticket out of town and she was taking it. Ronnie and Rue were in different grades despite being twins, but while Rue was supposed to be a senior, being in and out of school the amount of times Rue was is going to hold you back. Ronnie, however, wasn't letting anything keep her from graduating and leaving East Highland.
