"Ready to go to Mommy's?" I asked as Oakley wandered from her room with her Pluto and baby blanket. She nodded and I grabbed her bag. She was staying the night at Kay's tonight. While she's there, I'm having some friends over,

"I come home at night?" Oakley questioned,

"No princess. You're staying the night at Mommy's"

Oakley slowly nodded. I sighed. I know she doesn't want to but she has to. Kay will try to take her away from me if I don't let her,

"Oakley, you can call me whenever you want" I assured. She nodded and hugged my legs.

I got her in her carseat then climbed into the driver's seat and headed towards Kay's apartment.

"Daddy music" Oakley spoke up from the backseat. I laughed and grabbed my phone as I came to a red light, pulling up the Disney Spotify playlist I made for her. It's got all her favorite Disney songs. Of course, the first song that came on was Love Is An Open Door,

"Yay" Oakley clapped her hands and kicked her feet, "Gotta sing too Dad"

I laughed and turned the radio up, ready to sing my heart out to a Frozen song just for her,

"Isn't it crazy, we finish each other's" I sang, then waited for Oakley,

"Sandwiches!"

I smiled. That's her favorite part of the whole song

I parked at KayKay's complex and got out as she walked out to my truck,

"Thanks for letting me have her for the night" she spoke. I nodded and opened the back door. I unbuckled Oakley and sat her on her feet,

"Hi Mommy" she smiled, hugging Kay,

"Hi Oakley" Kay laughed, "I'm glad you aren't sick anymore"

"Me too" Oakley muttered, "But Daddy help me not be sick"

I know Kay cringed. I grabbed Oakley's bag and her Pluto and baby blanket, handing them to Kay,

"Do I need to come and get her in the morning or are you bringing her home?" I asked,

"I'll bring her home" Kay nodded. I nodded back then knelt to Oakley,

"I gotta go baby. Have fun" I spoke,

"Okay" she mumbled, "Wove you Daddy"

"I love you too" I kissed her head.

I hopped back in my truck and waited for Oakley and Kay to walk into the building before I left.

"Hey Ash!" Michael beamed as he walked in, "Where's my favorite Irwin?" he pouted,

"She's with Kay" I spoke watching as Luke and Calum followed him inside,

"So who's all coming over?" Luke asked as he sat a case of beer down on my counter,

"You all, Jordan, Andrew, Matt, Sam, Roy, Andy, and unfortunately Mitchy" I answered,

"So I'm guessing Mitchy found out that Jordan and Sam were coming over and invited himself" Calum laughed,

"Yup, which is why Oakley is not here"

Now that I have a child and I know how Mitchy is, I stay away from him. Unfortunately he somehow always just shows up.
