their first official day in a country like italy, was to begin at their beautiful museums, uffizi galleries, residing in florence where they were. their groups were obviously assigned such tour guides for their school.

the couple had received a few calls back from korea and seattle, of their parents, who still thought their oh-so-in love children would be happy on a honeymoon in italy in the same rooms, however that was not the case.

the strict parents raise cunningly sneaky kids.

the couple managed to thread through their web of con, sharing the same page of the chapter of the so called book.

now in reality however, hours away in italy, they preferred and definitely planned to stay at distance, and were getting ready respectively for heading out.

however, the kids, i.e our jay and hana, did feel pensive about deceiving their parents who looked rather optimistic and jolly of their children's progress, they had planned to go out together, in a half couple-ish way, take pictures, have a good time in italy's fine streets, and show such to their parents.

to see them smile and smile themselves.

"you done?" rose asked picking up her bag as she longingly gazed at her bestfriend.

"yup, just a minute" hana hurriedly grabbed her bag too, running over to her bestfriend as they both exited their room. locking it as they headed down the lobby, where all the students would be.

on the way, the lot of their A grade class, the selected for the marvelous trip abroad, stood sprawled around the spacious lobby.

"yo" jay muttered past his wife. "?" hana replied, being awkward as always.

after a few minutes had passed, a few were still eating, some scrolling on their phones in their seat, some just finished and were getting up to do their nature's call.

"dude, drink quicker" hana blinked multiple times at her bestfriend, watching her in distaste. meanwhile her friend was slowly slurping her juice while the three-year-old behind them finished the whole damn glass of his watermelon juice.

"i am!" rose said through her straw.

💍

"i want everyone to be in line, do not scatter. we will be entering the ancient section first, everyone's maps in their own hands. again, stay together." the teacher clarified.

everyone's nods and agreements came in, and they soon entered the huge noisy museum. there they slowly went over each small yet precious artefacts put on display, lowkey boring were words for some, kind of interesting were for most of them.

"hana...?" rose looked around herself, slowly stopping in the sole of her shoe once hana wasn't seen the 360 degree angle of herself.

"um miss! i can't find hana anywhere!" rose screamed at the most top of her lungs she can.

"what?!" after nearly 20 minutes, it was official hana wasn't in the section her whole class was in. classmates were concerned, but one in common, was more concerned than anyone.

"i'll go find her, i have the whole map. i'm sure i won't be getting lost anywhere, props to my basic italian as well" a firm voice popped up from behind.

"what...? no! we can't risk it" the teacher protested.

he scoffed with a smug smile, the concern hidden deep inside his eyes as he supressed his anger at her reply through his deep voice, "bene, puoi allora?"  the teacher looked reluctant, whispers amidst the crowd of students.

"What did he say?"

"Penne? bene? what-"

"oh my Lord, his voice is so dreamy even in Italian"

"silence. jay, I'm giving you half an hour." jay raised his eyebrow challenging, "an hour at most, find hana. good Lord this girl"

just before he started sprinting outside where his heart led him, "are you sure, jay?" she asked.

"yup" jay popped the 'p'. he looked calm, but inside, there was a volcano.

"okay, be back before 7. and hopefully, with hana"
