Zuri POV:
I run into the bedroom, I slam the door . I try to hold back any scream or any sob that is begging to escape
I grab a suitcase from his side of the room. Emptying out his clothes I go towards my walk in closet grabbing a pile of clothes
Placing the suitcase on the bed I start shoving the clothes into it .I go back into the closet to grab underwear
The click of the nob turning and creak of the door opening echo's around the room
Wiping my tears ,I don't bother to look who it is
"I'm sorry" James says closing the door behind him
I freeze
My heart breaks realizing that he chose her instead of me
Shoving stuff angrily into the bag , I try to look past the fact that my face is probably stained with tears
"Zuri" , I ignore him and I continue packing
"Zuri" he says coming towards me
"Get away from me " I try to hold back the sobs that wanna escape my lips
He walks towards me and he pulls me into a hug. Hesitant at first , I slowly wrap my arms around him and I sob
"It's okay , Zuri . He still loves you it's just- " he says patting by back
"Don't you dare try to defend him " I push away from the hug
I walk towards the closet and I grab more clothes
He sighs
"Look Zuri just stay and we'll fix this as adults " he runs his hand through his hair
Sighing I sit next to my suitcase and I think about what his saying.
Okay maybe I am overreacting but can you blame me I'm on my period .
I'm hungry and upset
"Let's go downstairs and talk to them " he suggests rubbing the back of his neck
"I have nothing to say to them " I seethe out
"Well your man is downstairs talking to his ex and your what crying in the room being a coward all for what " he scoffs
Sadly enough I needed those words even though they were a bit harsh
"Fine" I sigh getting up
"Good" he opens the door for me and we exit the room
Walking down the stairs, closer we went to the lounge his chuckles and her giggles are heard around the house
"Markie , I told you that I don't like it when you do that " she giggles in her annoying high pitched voice
"Oh come on you used to love it" he chuckles
I think he did something cause now her giggles are louder
Walking in I see them sitting wayyy to close to each other
My blood boils at the sight of them but I choice to remain calm
Their smiles drop when they see me
Mark slowly moves away from her
"Princess, are you okay" he says standing
"So Mahdia what brings you here " I cross my arms ignoring Mark
"Oh it's a long story" she says looking down and playing with her fingers
