"Yes unk I promise I'm ok stop worrying about me'" I said

"Ma I don't think you are you never really dealt with what happen" he said 

"but I did I had a funeral, I was sad, shocked, and now I'm ok" I said

"Ma but you never cried he was your twin brother and you didn't cry once" he said

"unk please let's just drop the conversation" I said

"you need to heal you can never move on until you actually feel what happened" he said

"unk please I just can't, if I feel what happened I will not be able to make myself whole again and that is not fair to the little girl that depends on me" I said

"how do you know you won't make it out on the other side" he asked

"because it's like you said he was my twin brother" I said walking out the living room

                                               *Later that day*

I was in the kitchen cleaning up a little waiting for Layla to get here

I went to go use the bathroom when I heard someone knock on the door

"princess can you go open the door for auntie la" I said entering the bathroom

"auntie la I coming " I heard Ave say

I had just knocked on the door when a little girl opened the door and looked at me with her ipad in her hand

I started to think I was at the wrong house

"uhh hey" she said

"wassup" I said

"what you want" she asked playing on her iPad

"umm is Ma here" I asked

"yes come in" she said

I walked in the house and then the little girl disappeared

I walked around the living room looking at all the pictures that were hanging up on the wall

I came across one pictures that had Ma and what I'm assuming is her brother

I took it off the wall looking at it

"do you usually come into people's houses uninvited and take things of their wall" Ma said

I chuckled "my fault this you brother" I said holding up the picture

she took it from me then put it back on the wall

"yes that is him now how did you find out where I live" she asked

"I don't tell on my sources " I said

I noticed that she started to reach behind her back under her shirt

"naw but your friend Layla told me" I said

"of course she did alright it was nice to see you but ion got the time so see you later" she said walking to the door

the little girl came back out into the living

"mommy where charger" she said holding up her iPad showing that it was dead

"it's in my room" she said

the little girl looked me up and down and walked away I chuckled

"I would have never thought you would have a kid" I said
