The Power of Dreams

Hear you may,
Hear you might,

Call upon the colors of your dreams,
Whisper to the night what lies in your mind,
And paint to the world your visions of the truth.

Truth may be told in dreams,
Truth may be heard in stories,
Truth may never lie to you,
Truth, may you always take our breath away.

What should I do to be a worthy man?
What may I give to mankind?

Such words are refraining, are they not?
For we are no longer mankind,
For we grew stronger and became humans.

Each story may carry the love it should,
But neither carry my scars of adulthood.
So what can one do to pay back the loss?

I can only stop and envision the world that I dreamt of.
Would you not as well?
Do you not uphold the power of visions and dreams?
Have you forgotten that you have humanity's greatest weapon?

The Power of Dreams.
