The MC sheds a tear, grinding his teeth.
Korain: Get out of my head!
He wakes up immediately after.
Jung Daeho: Looks like you had a dream, you look awful.
Daeho grins, chuckling.
Korain: Oh shut up.
Jung Daeho: Jokes aside, we should start moving now. The demons are closing in.
[ MOMENTS LATER.. ]
[ SLASHING ]
[ BLOOD SPLATTER ]
Korain: My mana is running really low, I can't hold on for much longer!
Korain: This'll be my final attack, then we'll run.
Korain: Daeho! Buy me some time.
Daeho chuckles.
Daeho: You got it.
[ SEVERAL MINUTES LATER ]
Daeho pants in exhaustion.
Daeho: I don't know if i can hold on for much longer! They are too many of them!
Korain: Don't worry, it's ready.
Korain unleashes his attack, "God's Judgement. Divine Thunderstorm!"
The attack has eradicated everything in it's vicinity.
However, the attack had attracted the attention of Tartarus. And so, the commander level demon approaches where the sound came from.
Daeho trembles in fear.
Then, a demon suddenly charges at him.
Korain: Daeho, look out!
Korain charges at the demon barely saving Daeho.
Korain: Daeho! Get it together damn it!
An army of High Class Demons charge at the two friends.
As they fend off the demons, Korain was fatally injured saving his friend.
Korain: Run..
Korain says so in a trembling voice with a deep injury to his shoulder and stomach.
Tartarus offers Daeho power and eternal life if he slashes off the head of the 10th Circle Archmage.
Daeho is tempted, however hesitating.
Korain: No! You don't have to do this..
Daeho: I'm sorry, my friend. But I have to.
Korain gets angry, a heavy load of mana surrounds him, unleashing an attack that could pose harm to the prince of hell Tartarus.
But however, his injuries and weak reserve of mana stops him and falls into a deep sleep.
Korain: I was too naive.. I guess that was my loss.
A bright light shines ahead of him.
Korain: Is this heaven? Can I finally rest in peace?
Korain grins happily knowing his misery has finally come to an end.
But that wasn't the case..
Korain wakes up in his old room.
Korain: Am I dead..?
Korain looks at the calendar
Korain: 2022? Did i travel back in time?
Korain: Looks like I regressed 20 years back.
He grins, holding his fist.
Korain: That damned bastard Jung Daeho betrayed me.. prick.
Korain sheds a faint smile.
Korain: Looks like i get to start anew.. I won't let this go to waste!
