Korain hears a familiar voice and smiles happily .
"Korain! Come on down, it's time for supper."
Korain's smile drops as his exhaustion gets to him.
"Ah fuck."
Korain, curious.
"Hold on, am i still of the same level as i was before i regressed?"
He attempts to create a 9th Circle magic.
[ SYSTEM ERROR ]
Korain sighs in frustration.
"Error? What the hell?"
"Nothing i can do about it i guess. I'll just work to get my powers back, shouldn't be hard."
Korain hears his sister walking up to the stairs, into his room.
"Oh damn i forgot."
Korain's sister comes to his room surprised.
"Huh? Who are you?"
Korain looking confused.
"What do you mean? It's me!"
"Did you forget what i look like?!"
Korain's sister laughs confusedly.
"There's no way someone as handsome and tall as you is my brother."
Korain smiles, chuckling.
"That's unlike you to give me a compliment. You'd usually slap me."
His sister smiles.
"It really is you. You look totally different!"
"Anyways, we should get down. It's time for supper."
Korain replies
"Alright, let's go."
[ MOMENTS LATER ]
"Alright, I'm off."
Korain's sister and mother replies.
"Take care!"
Korain smiles.
"You got it."
Korain, inside his head.
"I should go and get my abilities back. I guess i should go head down to the Hunters Association and get assessed."
"I need a Hunter license to raid dungeons, towers, caves and such. I need to be raiding consistently if i want to grow."
As Korain is heading to the Hunters Association, he hears someone screaming for help.
Korain runs to the voice.
"That voice.. dont tell me.."
Korain very pissed.
"Daeho."
[ MOMENTS LATER ]
The 3 thugs tie down Daeho to the ground, shutting him up. About to rob him
Korain jumps to the scene saving Daeho.
Korain smiles.
"I'll give you 10 seconds to run before I smash all 3 of you to bits "
The thugs, angry.
"You think you can beat all 3 of us? Arrogant shit."
"I'll kill you!"
Korain replies.
"I'd like to see you try. 5 seconds left"
All 3 thugs charge at Korain.
"You're dead!"
Korain scoffs and chants a magic attack.
"Idiots."
[ DEFENSE TYPE MAGIC ]
[ MANA PRISON ]
The 3 thugs surprised.
2 of the 3 thugs ran away of fear.
The last thug left scoffs.
"You're just lucky! I won't hold back anymore."
Korain looks at the thug dead in the eye.
"Are you sure of that statement?"
[ AUTHORITATIVE TYPE MAGIC ]
The thug standing, paralyzed and terrified.
Korain walks closer.
The thug getting even more terrified, screaming.
"Stay away! You fucking monster!"
Korain comes closer, holding his hand out to the thugs head.
[ AUTHORITATIVE TYPE MAGIC ]
Korain brings the thug to a dark domain, showing him all the pain he has inflicted on others.
Korain says angrily.
"Reflect on your sins, scum."
[ MOMENTS LATER ]
The thug feels traumatized and runs away in tears.
Korain looks at Daeho.
"I guess he's unconscious."
Korain carries Daeho and brings him to a hospital.
Korain leaves him a letter and a gift.
"This should be enough."
"Even though he betrayed me, i can still turn him into a useful puppet."
Korain disappears.
[ SEVERAL HOURS LATER ]
Daeho wakes up exhausted.
"Where am i? Is this a hospital?"
"I guess that guy saved me. I couldn't get a clear look at him, how unfortunate."
"Hm?"
Daeho looks at the letter Korain left for him.
"Hey, it's me. Korain. I've left you a few gifts, it's compensation for what had happened. I also retrieved your belongings so yeah. It's a pouch of money. Exactly 100 gold coins."
Daeho surprised.
"This crazy bastard. 100 coins?!"
"How'd he even get this much money!"
"Jeez."
Daeho looks through the window.
"I guess i should thank him when i get back."
