"Mari stop running!" Alora yelled behind him as they walked through the door. He had run off to find his cousin. "Ain't nobody going to KHIPP ya ass get hurt."

"Yes the hell we are." Mama K said, peeking out from the kitchen.

"Ma speak for ya face cause I ain't sitting in no emergency room tonight." Alora said, walking towards her with her arms out for a hug. She walked deeper into the kitchen. "Damn you got the whole family here," Alora said looking back at her mom.

Alora walked towards her Aunt Tracy and her daughter Unique, she gave them a hug then went over to her Aunt Kim. "Where baby boy ?"

"Somewhere in the house with Thalik."She answered.

"I still can't believe you started over. Your oldest is 29." Mama K said. Aunt Kim had three kids: Mook, Carter and Khalil, who was the same age as Mari. "I'm with Ma but yall know i feel about having anything over two kids is crazy. "

"Yea, which one of yall giving me my nieces?" Aunt Tracy asked.

"Mhm you gotta ask one of ya nephews because I'm not popping nothing out anytime soon." Alora flopped down in the chair at the table. "Unique, what you been up to since i left the A ?"

"Nothing, I'm finally done with aesthetician school. Ya friend Indi was helping me a lot."

"I told you she went for the same thing awhile ago but now she's a traveling message therapist."

Alora chatted with her little cousin about the different things that had changed over the last months since they last saw each other. But she couldn't help but wonder about her fathers other siblings. "Are your cousins here too?"

"Cousins and Uncles. It's a full house for sure." Unique answered.

"Mama why you ain't tell nobody everyone was coming to town?" Alora asked.

"It was last minute. Ya father got something up his sleeve I know that much." said Aunt Kim.

"You always running ya mouth." Aunt Tracy cut her eye at her sister in law.

"KD don't keep shit from his family. If she don't know now she'll know soon." Aunt Kim said.

Alora looked over at her mother for a response. She mouthed the words "we'll talk" then went back to slicing the roast.

"I'll be back." she said exiting the kitchen.

She knew her mother would tell her what was going on but she was to impatient to wait. Her aunt were in town and so were her uncles. If the whole Diamond family was present in the city, it only meant the worse was bound to come.

She knocked on the door to her father office twice before walking in. Like she thought her uncle's; Ray, Dre, and Zahir, along with the theirs sons Carter, Mook, Dess, and Dom. Even her aunt husband Nasir were present.

"So who bouta die ?" Alora asked looking around the room at her cousins and uncles.

KD chuckled, raising from behind his desk . "Hey baby girl." Alora had walked around his desk, giving him a hug.

"Well hello to you child." Carter said.

"My bad, Hey fellas." she waved. "And Carter you literally have one year over me. Relax."
