The bitter cold of the forest creeps under Inuwa's cloak as he gathers some toadstools from the forest floor. These particular fungi were rare and would fetch a decent price back in town. Their magical properties prevented all manner of illness. Inuwa thought that he should probably begin heading back before the fog thickened again. It had a way of disorienting people, but... gathering just a few more ingredients couldn't hurt, right?

Inuwa scours the ground for more mushrooms, using a bioluminescent concoction in a vial to see. This particular ring of the Guillon forest was too dense for sunlight to get in, and the eternal fog made harvesting even more difficult. It only receded some at noon when it got hot enough to lift the fog a bit.

The rustle of something creeping across the forest floor startles Inuwa. On instinct, he quickly grabs his bow and an arrow, firing a shot behind him. It was hard to see, but the arrow had definitely pinned something down. Inuwa quickly grabs his light, shining it in the direction of what he'd hit.

A mushroom fairy? A demi-humanoid fairy that was worth quite a bit of gold. Much like all fairies, their essence could extend youth, and their mushroom bodies could be made into a soup that could completely heal any viral infections. Inuwa's arrow had pinned it to the forest floor by its plant-like clothes. It was afraid, desperately tugging at its clothing to try and get free. It'd be easy to finish off. Inuwa walks up to his prey. He had to kill it. This is what it meant to be a fairy hunter...right?
