⋆★ I TOLD THE STARS
ABOUT YOU ↷☆⋆ACT i.
/act one/" I FELL," whispered Icarus.
" I SAW YOU FLY, " whispered I.
UP AND DOWN, who's to say which is falling and which is flying?
ICARUS ARDOR BELLEROSE
ICARUS LOVED THE STARS. he loved the way they stood above the world, high up in the emyrean. He loved the way they saw all that unfolded within the mortal planes. But they were also lonely, and he knew that too. From the solid grounding of the earth, they seemed so close and clustered, yet Icarus knew otherwise. He knew what it felt like to be isolated from the rest of the world; to look but never touch. Icarus knew what it was like to be a star. So with that common, alienating factor, the half-blood found solace in the cosmos. A standalone sense of solidarity. Icarus could never truly be with the stars (not anymore at least), but he could still be apart of their dynasty. And, he soon found, Perseus could be apart of his as well.

" And during the day when there are no stars in the sky, I turn to you and admire the cosmos dusting your face. It is there do I make constellations of my own, mapping out a galaxy only I know of, writing love poems in a language only we speak. "
