Jae ended up having to sit a few seats away from me

The teacher said we have to pair up for a group

All the girls tried to get with Jae

"Oh..I uh already have a partner" he said looking around the room

I was grabbing something from my pencil case when he came up to me

"Y/n?" He said catching my attention
"Will you be my partner?" He said smiling
"Uh sure..."

He nodded and sat in the desk infront of me spinning the chair around and sitting in it

I started working on the project and he did too

He was pretty nice to work with

But I don't think the girls liked me

Soon the bell rung and I scooped up all my stuff trying to go to class fast before I get swept away

"See ya y/n" Jae waved with a wide smile

I smiled and waved not really thinking of anything else but the fact I have miles next

I practically bounced into the classroom and I saw miles looking through his pencil case

I sat in the seat next to him

"Oh hey y/n" he smiled at me

"Hi miles" I smiled at him

"Have you heard of the new boy?" He asked going back to whatever he was doing

"Yeah I saw him a while ago"
He looked over at me

"Even though..we haven't been dating for that long..you wouldn't cheat on me right?" He hesitated asking

My heart sunk

"No of course not miles- why would you think that"
"I dunno"
