"yay we're here!" Holly says as we walk up to the studio
"oh it's really pretty" i say
"no potholes!" Kendall snickers
"the LA studio didn't have them." Nia says
"Pittsburgh sure did." Kalani says
we walk into the studio and we find what i'd call Studio A
we all start to warm up
"oh my gosh guys we aren't going to be on a pyramid!" Kalani beams
"no more bottom of the pyramid!" Nia says
"oh god, good riddens." I mumble
"hi guys!" our new choreographer Aisha Francis says
"hi how are you!" Holly says
Aisha hugs Holly then Nia
"so what's been going on you guys catch me up" Aisha says
"well this week is like one of the most important weeks of competition season..we left Abby." Kendall says
"so this is the definite end of the ALDC era, seeing Abby at competition this weekend.." Holly says
"it's going to be hard." mom says
"it's going to be hard." Holly nods
"her goal is to make these girls look horrible" Kira says
"and we have more at stake now ever before" Jill says
"so i'm ready to work..i think we should start with the group the number should be breaking away from everything you're used to breaking away from Abby from being a child and stepping into being a woman." Aisha says
well i'm twelve.
"so it's like more of the old school burliest but super sexy like a woman's movement it can be really powerful if you attack it the right way...with that being said Camila and Evelyn i think you're to young for this piece so you both won't be in the group dance."
i nod
suddenly i feel like i'm Mackenzie
"we do have solos going out this week..Camila, Kendall, Evelyn and Kalani you guys have solos so you guys have a lot of weight on your shoulder..i'm going to have you guys step out so we can get started we have so much to do thank you guys."

"yeah." Kalani says
"well don't, i need you guys to stay with the technique all this stuff you can't be duh duh duh it has to be HA this hasn't been done before with you so let's really use that so let's grab a chair" Aisha says
i sit in the splits at the back while the girls learn the group routine
and Evelyn sits beside me
i wonder if this how Kenzie felt when she wasn't in the groups all the time..bored.
oh and the music is to that jail dance we did years ago..bad memories.
