The day had finally come for me to meet Winter's groupmates from aespa. I stood at the entrance of their practice studio, my heart racing with anticipation. Winter had told me that her groupmates were friendly, but I couldn't help feeling a mix of excitement and nerves as I walked inside.

The studio was buzzing with activity as the girls practiced their choreography. When they spotted me, their faces lit up with genuine smiles, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth. Karina, Giselle, and Ningning greeted me with enthusiasm, their words filled with excitement.

"Hi, I'm Karina," the first girl introduced herself, extending her hand with a friendly smile.

I shook her hand, feeling a sense of ease wash over me. "Nice to meet you, I'm Y/N."

Giselle grinned, her eyes sparkling mischievously. "So, you're the lucky person Winter has been talking about."

I chuckled, feeling a sense of camaraderie in their teasing. "Seems like it."

Ningning joined in, her smile bright. "Winter mentioned you a lot."

As we chatted, I quickly realized that they were as down-to-earth and approachable as Winter had described. The initial nervousness I felt began to fade away, replaced by a genuine sense of connection.

Karina leaned in, her tone curious. "How did you and Winter meet?"

I glanced at Winter, who was watching our interaction with a mix of amusement and interest. The memory of our first meeting at the convenience store brought a smile to my lips. "We met at the convenience store where I work. It was a chance encounter."

Giselle winked playfully. "Ah, the classic meet -cute."

Ningning nudged her playfully. "Giselle, don't tease."

As our conversation flowed, I found myself relaxing in their presence. The camaraderie among Winter and her groupmates was evident, and I couldn't help but feel happy for her. But as we talked, I also noticed Winter's gaze lingering on us, her expression a mix of emotions.

After a while, I excused myself from the group and walked over to Winter. She smiled, but there was a hint of vulnerability in her eyes. "Hey."

I greeted her with a warm smile, my fingers instinctively reaching out to brush against hers. "Hey, are you okay?"

Winter's smile didn't quite reach her eyes. "I can't help but feel a little jealous."

I tilted my head, concerned. "Jealous? Why?"

She motioned to our groupmates, who were still chatting animatedly. "You and my groupmates seem to be getting along so well. It's like an instant connection."

I reached out and gently cupped her cheek, my touch affectionate and reassuring. "Winter, their connection with me is separate from what we share. It's not a comparison."

She met my gaze, her eyes searching. "You think so?"

"Absolutely," I affirmed. "Every relationship is unique. What you and I have is different from their connection with me. No matter how well I get along with them, my heart belongs to you."

Winter's lips curved into a small smile, her doubt slowly fading away. "I needed to hear that."

With our unspoken worries addressed, I felt a renewed sense of closeness between us. Our relationship was something special, built on shared moments, genuine feelings, and an understanding that went beyond words.

"Y/N-ie," she whispered, her voice soft, "thank you."

I leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to her lips, my heart filled with affection for her. "You're welcome, Minjeongie."

As the day continued, our interactions with her groupmates became even more relaxed and enjoyable. I could see how much they cared for Winter, and their warm reception of me filled me with gratitude.

As the time came to say our goodbyes, Winter and I walked side by side through the streets of Seoul. The city lights illuminated our path, and the night air was filled with a sense of contentment.

"You know," Winter began, her voice thoughtful, "meeting you has brought unexpected changes into my life."

I looked at her with a smile, feeling a deep connection. "The feeling is mutual."

She playfully bumped her shoulder against mine. "Who would've thought that you'd come into my life and make me feel this way?"

I slipped my hand into hers, our fingers fitting together naturally. "And who would've thought that you would become such an important part of mine?"

As we walked, our hearts and fingers intertwined, I knew that our journey was far from over. Each passing day brought us closer, and the path ahead was filled with endless possibilities – a journey we would undertake together, hand in hand, as we continued to embrace the twists and turns of our love story.
