Aurora’s POV

I walked into my house and sighed loudly.

It started raining as I was walking home and I was now completely wet.

“Fuck,” I mumbled as I started taking off my sneakers.

“You look like a wet rat,” I heard the voice I absolutely hated.

I tightened my jaw and took a deep breath.

“You don’t know how to say hello when you walk into a house?” Amelia asked. “Who raised her, Sebastian? A pack of wolves?”

I looked up at her and rolled my eyes.

I would talk back at the beginning, but it only made it worse. I decided to just ignore her after a while. She would eventually stop with the insults.

“Do not roll your eyes at me, you piece of trash,” she said angrily. “You are not allowed to disrespect me like that. I am your brother’s girlfriend.”

I remained quiet. I put my backpack on the ground and started walking toward the kitchen.

“Sebastian!” the bitch exclaimed. “Do something!”

I already knew that my brother wouldn’t do anything. He didn’t even look at me when I walked inside the house. He didn’t even flinch when his girlfriend was insulting me.

My brother mumbled something I couldn’t hear. It made Amelia whine loudly.

I reached the kitchen and approached the fridge. I opened it just as I heard footsteps approaching the kitchen.

Did she really follow me to the kitchen?

What the fuck?

I turned around and saw her and my brother walk in.

I raised an eyebrow at them.

“Apologize, Aurora,” Amelia said angrily. “Your brother and I demand respect from you.”

Was she serious? She was delusional.

“Right the fuck now, Aurora!” Amelia screamed when I remained silent.

“Or what?” I asked as I walked to the kitchen island and sat down.

I just couldn't keep quiet.

“Or I will make you regret it,” Amelia said, crossing her arms over her chest. “You are messing with the wrong woman, Aurora.”

I just chuckled and shook my head.

She gasped loudly.

“Sebastian!” she screamed, looking at my brother. “Tell her to apologize! I demand respect!”

“Oh, like you respect me by calling me trash?” I spoke before my brother could.

She looked at me and widened her eyes.

“Don’t demand respect when you are not willing to respect me back,” I said as I opened the bottle of water in my hands. “You’ve been nothing but a bitch to me since the day you started dating Sebastian. I don’t exactly know why you chose to insult me, but I don’t care anymore.”

I took a small sip of water and put the bottle on the kitchen island. She was staring at me wide-eyed. My brother just looked angry.

“You will never hear me say that I am sorry,” I continued. “I don’t respect you and I never will.”

Amelia gasped loudly.

“You little whore,” she said as she took a step closer to me. “How dare you talk to me like that?!"
