08: Another Apology

You awake to the smell of pancakes floating through the house. You look over to see no one around.

Where did everyone go? Ahhh your head's pounding!

You get up and walk towards the smell which leads you to the kitchen. You enter and see Jimin standing over the stove wearing an apron, and sitting at the table are the other boys, stuffing their faces with pancakes. Jungkook looks up and notices you.

"Oh hey you're awake, want some?" he mumbles, with his mouth stuffed with pancakes.

Jimin turns around, holding a plate of pancakes, "I just cooked a fresh batch, made with love just for you." he winks and places the plate at an empty spot at the table next to him. You look at him, "Sorry Jimin I'm not really hungry." and you walk out heading to your room.

~Out in the kitchen~

"What's wrong with her?" Jungkook asks concerningly.

Yoongi looks up and shrugs "I don't know, probably just pissed that I'm better than her."

"Hey Yoongi, what were you and Y/N doing last night?" Jimin asks.

"What do you mean?"

"I woke up during the night and saw Y/N with her hands on your shoulders looking deeply into your eyes and you were blushing?"

"WHAT THE!" Jungkook jumps up in shock looking at Yoongi for an explanation.

Yoongi just rolls his eyes, "I was just telling her about your training to become an idol and she just jumped on me ok!"

"Wait, you told her what? Dude you weren't meant to say anything you bitch!"

"Who the hell are you calling a bitch, bitch! You never said anything about not telling her!" Yoongi yells back.

"Well I wasn't counting on you meeting her and all of sudden becoming part of her life!"

"What do you mean I'm a part of her life!?"

"Well if you're not a part of her life then why the hell did she have her hands all over you last night?"

"She didn't have them all over me, just on my shoulders because you lied to her."

"I didn't lie to her, just didn't mention some parts."

"Well you lied about how we know each other!"

Jimin is standing there between the fights. "um so... want some pancakes anyone."

In sync Yoongi and Jungkook yell "NO!"

"Oh, ok then." Jimin walks off, his cute shoulders slumped and a sad expression on his face.

"Jimin, we're leaving!" Yoongi grabs a hold of Jimin's arm and drags him out the door still in his apron and holding his cold pancakes.

~Y/N POV~

You crashed out on your bed.

You awake to a soft knock on the door, "Y/N, can I come in?" Jungkook calls softly from the other side.

You sit up on your bed "I guess."

The door slowly opens and Jungkook enters slowly.

"Can we talk?"

You ignore him, looking the other way.

"Y/N I'm sorry... I didn't tell you the whole truth... and I'm sorry you had to find out from Yoongi. I should have been the one to tell you."

"Yeah you should have... why didn't you tell me the truth? I'm not used to you lying to me like this." You turn to face him.

"I didn't want to tell you and then disappoint you if I fail... I wanted to see if I was able to become anything first and then surprise you if I succeed." He sits down next to you.

"Y/N forgive me please! You're my best friend. I don't want it to have to be like this."

You let out a sigh, "Jungkook I would never be disappointed in you if you failed. And you won't fail! I know that you are annoyingly talented at literally everything! It annoys me so much, not because I don't want you to do well, but because I know I'll never be anything you are!"

He looks confused. "It just annoys me ok!?" You smile and nudge him in the ribs.

He giggles "I'm sorry."

~Time Skip~

It's the beginning of a new week again and you're back at school. You're at your locker grabbing your books. Suddenly someone slams your locker shut on your wrist.

"Ahhhh shit!" you yell in pain.

"What the hell!" you turn to see who slammed it. You see a girl standing there with a smirk.

"Oh sorry did that hurt?" she puts a sarcastic pout on her face.

"Do I know you?" you ask.

"Not yet, I'm Jungkook's future girlfriend, Brittany Stone."

"Oh I see. Such a shame though, Jungkook doesn't date ugly bitches so I guess you won't be his girlfriend any time soon." You turn around and strut off.

Who the hell was that bitch! Some nerve she has. Like Jungkook would ever date someone like that.

You look at your wrist and see it's already starting to bruise.

You walk into your homeroom class and head to your desk next to Jungkooks.

"Hey, you took a while getting your books." Jungkook pulls out your chair.

"Sorry, I got held up." you sit down and place your books on your desk. As you're putting your books down, Jungkook suddenly grabs your bruised wrist.

"Ow what are you doing Kookie?" you pull your wrist back and cover it up hiding the bruise.

"Where did the bruise come from? You didn't have it on the way to school this morning?"

"Oh it's nothing, some bitch just slammed it in my locker."

"What kind of asshole would do that!"

"Someone who thinks they're going to be your future girlfriend!" you laugh.

~ End of School~

Jungkook and you are walking out of school heading to the parking lot.

"Hey Jungkook, wait up!" an annoying voice yells out.

You and Jungkook turn around confused. You see Brittany running up to you waving to Jungkook.

"Hey my mommy can't pick me up today, can I get a ride?" She asks, batting her eyelashes all flirty.

What a fucking bitch! Like Jungkook is gonna fall for someone like her.

Jungkook looks at you and you nod confirming his thought asking if that was the bitch who slammed your wrist.

"Yeah umm... how about no!" Jungkook turns and heads to his jeep as you follow.

Brittany is left there jaw dropped.

Did she seriously think that stupid act would work?

You're now in the car heading home.

"I can confirm she is 100% a fake bitch." Jungkook says laughing.

"I know! 'Mommy forgot to pick me up.' seriously!?" You both laugh at the stupid act she put on.

"Hope she doesn't bother you again."

"I think I can handle her Kookie." you say, giving him a reassuring smile.
