"You're so beautiful" , he said.
The first time I wanted to believe I was pretty, I was with him in his bed.

I can still feel the butterflies in my gut,
The warmth of his hand,
Like laying on the beach in the glittery sand.

I reminisce the love in his eyes.
Oh lord that pretty gaze!
Safe, warm, homely is how I explain his embrace.

Love is a risk.
And this is how this lover falls.
I felt loved.
Felt loved until someone calls.

My heart sped up
Realising it was her.
I saw you and that's when everything went blur.

I remember his eyes soften,
those muscle tense.
His tone softer,
That heart dense.

Melancholy is what I call it
when my ivory heart shredded.
It shreds till date into bits and bits and bits.

I still love that boy
he'll always be my baby.
I call it love.
You call me crazy.

It wasn't a sauna,
It was a ruddy shower.
The love never present,
Forever remains a scour.

Furious me would be hostile.
Shout cry cuss at him.
But was it really his fault?
He was already broken enough.
Afterall he got his lovers call.
