Cut that always bleeds

They say I can't be judged,
I'm a whole different breed.
For I play happy songs when I cut myself,
Smile while I bleed.

They tell me they don't trust me,
I'm as emotionless as a freak.
For I have never rolled a single tear down my cheek.

But they never wondered
why that child was full of marks,
Or worried how she looked
when she was in the dark.

They don't know
she met cupid in a blood red dress,
And danced and danced
untill she was a mess.

Cupid left soon after,
But she remembers him as her creed.
They don't know she still waits,
Waits with the cut that always bleeds.
