"What are you most scared of?"
Came before me a question I really had to condemn,
It took me a second.
"I'm scared of death" I told themScared of the unknown,
Scared of what comes after,
Scared of being forgotten,
It sounded like a total disaster.I was scared of the empty fragile arms,
Scared of being trapped.
I was scared.
Untill everything snapped. When I was lonely with people,
When everyone was green while I was browning,
When I felt chaos in trying only then I decided to be at peace with drowning. When you love someone,
But to them you are just a chore.
You wouldn't have to be alone to be lonely, and it hurts you more.Hope is what keeps you alive,
White liars say it's your breath.
Been a while since I lost hope,
Been a while I since died before death. The ocean won't hear my whimpers,
I'll simply let it rise.
The depth doesn't scare me anymore,
Neither does its stoic eyes."I'm scared of death" I recall myself say
How could I be?
Being in a casket made me realise I was actually free.
