Days have gone by, and it's our last night in San Fransisco and tomorrow, the boys are going back to their home in Germany while I and Kate go back to Los Angeles.

I was sad the entire day, knowing that this would be the last day would be with Tom again after a long-distance

I spent my time in Kate and Gustav's room because I didn't want to face Tom for a while

it's now December and my graduation and birthday will be in the next few weeks, weeks without my boyfriend beside me

" come on Addie! It's our last day in San Fransisco, don't you want to go out? " Kate asks. I covered myself with the blanket and groan

" no! I-I don't want to Kate " I protested and I heard her sigh

" Addie, you've been in that bed since this morning. What's wrong? " she asks and I bite my lip while still covering myself

" Nothing " I lied

"All alright then, me and Gustav are just gonna go out together, call me if you need anything! " Kate says and I heard the door open and shut before everything went quiet again.

Tom's pov
Something's wrong with my Adeline, she shut me down this morning and left our room to go to Kate, and after what happened, I've never seen her again, or gone out of the room for a while.

I felt hurt and had no idea why she'd been acting like this, but we made our trip here in San Fransisco memorable and tomorrow morning is our flight. I'm sad and didn't want to let go of Addie

But I found out that her exam is in three days, and then next week will be her graduation and birthday.

I didn't want to miss those moments with my girlfriend, I wanted to be at her side every time and everywhere

I took a deep breath and returned to the hotel with Bill, just right in time. I saw Kate heading out with Gustav

" hey, is Adeline still in your room? " I asked making Kate look up at me and smile

" yep, I don't know what's wrong but I think she's upset because we're leaving tomorrow already " Kate explains. And I knew that Adeline was probably overthinking again. I thanked her and went to the elevator as fast as I can

Her little head is such an overthinker, she did not say anything to me about it but I noticed it on her

and I'm not mad or upset. I'm now practicing how to be there for her, even if she doesn't tell me to

I know when she's fiddling with her hands and I'll always grab it just to stop her. And I promise to Adeline that I'm here to always assure her that I won't gonna leave her.

Because I never dreamed of leaving her. She's the woman I want to marry someday, to call her my wife

I know it's such a rushed thought, but ever since I said those three words to her, I knew what I want

When I arrived at our floor, I didn't knock on the door but instead, I headed inside quietly

I made sure I didn't make any noise. Then, I heard her little cries and sobs that broke my heart into pieces

I walked further inside the room and saw her lying down on the bed, she was covering herself with the white blanket and crying beneath it. I laid down behind her, and gently wrapped my arms around Adeline.

She knew it was me, I watched as she took off the covers and looked behind me, I smiled at her, seeing how stained her eyes were. I cup her cheeks with my hand and wipe the years away from her cheeks

" Baby, what's wrong? " I asked.

Suddenly, I was surprised at how quickly she embraced me, I put my one hand on her back and softly caressed it, comforting her

" i-it's just, I don't want to let you go. I-i won't gonna see you after a long time " Adeline cries silently while burying her face into my shirt. She has no idea what my surprise is for her

" shh, baby. Calm down, hey, look at me " I said softly.

" you don't have to worry about anything, I'll still be with you... We don't know when, but I promise, I'll never leave you, Adeline " I said and placed a kiss on her forehead

" I promise you that I'll always call you every night, and I'll even send you a gift every week " I continue, she chuckles and it made me feel relief that I made her smile again

" and whenever my baby is asleep, she'll wake up and see the voice message I left for her... Now don't cry, I'll visit you when I can " I said and wrapped my arms around her. Adeline nodded and we stayed like that for a moment.

I gently stroke her hair with my fingers, and when I look down, she's already asleep.

I smiled when I saw how beautiful she was, I consider myself a lucky guy every day, how can I, have someone like her

I stood from the bed and gently carried her in a bridal style. I returned to our room and tucked her into the bed. I placed a kiss on her forehead and went out on the balcony, calling my brother

"Hello? "

" Hey, I need your help tonight "

Adeline pov

When I woke up, I saw it was already dawn outside the windows. I let out a small yawn and sat in the bed, noticing that Tom was nowhere to be found, but instead the red rose beside me with a letter.

I smiled and blushed, taking the rose and reading the letter he had written for me.

Good evening pretty girl, sorry I have to leave you for a moment. But I just want to say that I'll come back at 7:00 o'clock to take you out in a dinner. Can't wait to see you xoxo - Tom ;)
