After a few hours things are looking dire almost everyone is out of the fight except Enterprise and Hornet.

Enterprise: is about to fire at Zuikaku when her bow breaks, and since the fleet wasn't expecting a fight so soon. Both Enterprise and Hornet ran out of planes at some point.
Zuikaku: I really thought you would be stronger then this Grey Ghost. I'm ending you and your sister right here-

3 MK48 torpedos dive into the water and slam into the crane sisters disabling them.
Enterprise and Hornet: what are we seeing?
Sampson: that will teach you to mess with-

Z23: you shouldn't have gotten so cocky now prepare to-
