~Heidi's POV~
I lay in my bed. I woke up about 5 minutes ago but I've had no motivation to do anything. I close my eyes and lay there for a while longer.
I hear buzzing on my nightstand that becomes clearer after a few moments. I roll over and yawn. I grab my phone and look at the contact: Sofia Vergara.
What could she possibly want from me? I haven't seen her since the end of the AGT season. I've tried to get over what happened, but clearly she hadn't. I reluctantly answer the phone.
"Hello?" I ask. Those are my first words to her in so long, it feels strange.
"Oh, my God, Heidi, hi!" I forgot how cute her voice is.
"Sofia, I missed you so much... Thanks for calling me." I say.
"About that, do you want to go out for an early dinner today?"
"Yes, I'd love to!"
"Great, I'll pick you up at your place at 4."
"Are you sure you're ready?" I ask nervously.
"I wouldn't have reached out if I wasn't." Sofia smiles.
"Okay, see you then." I hang up the phone and scream excitedly.
