Chapter 39

Brynnley:

"I believe you," I say

Carter looks at me with a surprised smile

"You do," he says

"Should I not?" I questioned him from the reaction he just gave me

"Yes, I mean No. I mean, Yes, yes, believe me because I am telling you the truth," he says, stuttering over his words, making me giggle

"I'm sorry I acted out like that. I should have let you explain sooner," I say, feeling bad that I cut him off without explanation.

"You had a right to. If that were me, I would be pissed off too If I saw another guy kissing you," he says as he starts to get protective at the thought of me with another guy.

"Yeah, I was really hurt. I thought you didn't love me, and everything you said to me was fake," I say, confessing my true feelings of the situation because I'd rather let it all out

He looks upset that I even thought that

"Brynn, I meant everything I said to you in our relationship. I love you and only you. When I look at my future, all I see is you. I want to marry you one day, I want to have kids with you, I want everything with you. Everything I've said was true, and I meant everything ." He says, staring into my eyes. I feel the tears rolling down my cheeks.

He really does love me. Man, I really fucked up by jumping to conclusions

"I love you," I say to him, and he smiled

"Really?" he said

"Really," I said while blushing

He leaned in and kissed me. God, how I have missed these lips. I missed him so much

"I really missed you," I say

"I missed you more," He replies

"This time apart really sucked," I say, wiping my tears

"It was the worst," he says

"I should probably ask. Will you be my girlfriend again?" he asked with a look, hoping I would say yes

"Hmm, I dont know," I say in a serious tone when really I am just teasing him

"Oh, um, okay," he said, seeming flustered

I smile at him "I'm just kidding. Yes, I will be your girlfriend again," I say

"You tricked me: He says with a relived look

"That I did" I say with a smirk.

He smiles and kisses me

He pulls back first and gazes at me

"So how was your winter break, hopefully, more eventful than mine," he asked me "Well, mine involved watching every movie on Netflix and eating a bunch of junk food," I say and giggle

He chuckles. " Yep, that sounded pretty close to mine, But I have to say I'm glad we are back together because my mom said I'm not allowed to come home unless you are with me," he states

I laugh "I miss your mom so much," I say

"Yeah, I think she missed you more than me," she says with a chuckle

We continue catching up.

We were there talking for about two hours, and we decided to head out

"Hey, do you want to head back to my place?" He asks

"Yeah, sure, I'll follow behind you with my car," I say and head to my car

Driving my car, I try to process everything that just happened.

We made up

We are dating again

He sees a future with me

Woah, that's a lot to process, but I have to shove it to the back of my mind as I see we arrived.

I grab my purse and turn off my car. I am about to open my door, but I am too late; Carter has already opened it for me.

Oh, I missed this.

I get out of my car and grab his hand.

"Well, let's go," he says as he bows. He is such a dork

We made it to the front door, and I heard the roommates talking from outside. I look at Carter, and he shakes his head. He already knows they are loud

I open the door, and all the boys look at me. If I thought they were loud before, they were even louder now since they saw me

"AYYY Brynney back!!" I see Brett yell, and all the guys cheer

I laugh at their ridiculousness

I look and see Jensen smiling

This is where I am meant to be

I look back at Carter, and he wraps his arms around my waist, and my back falls to his chest.

Now, this is where I am really meant to be

Life is good again. My fav couple is back together

I hate to break the news to everyone but there is only 3 more chapters left.
