I feel like if you unintentionally ended up on top of someone two times in one day, the universe was trying to say something.

The feel of Nixx's hands gripping my hips and his breath brushing my neck definitely seemed like something was being said.

"You alright?" He asked, and tingles ran through my body.

I nodded, my eyes narrowing as I tried not to pant.

Just jump him! My wolf demanded.

Something I knew was desire shocked my system, and I turned my body in his arms, locking eyes with his green ones.

Waiting for you to kiss him is like watching paint dry!

"My wolf," I said, breathless. "Has very interesting ideas on what we should do in this position."

His eyebrows rose, but nothing except heat was written in his gaze.

"I think my wolf mirrors her sentiments," he replied, eyes dropping before lifting back up and sighing. "And as much as I would love to fulfill their requests, we have a lot to talk about. And a tour to finish."

He kissed my forehead before standing and offering me his hand.

My skin was blazing where his lips touched, and everything inside of me was begging for more, but I knew he was right.

I grabbed his hand, pulling myself into a standing position and brushing non-existent dust from my pants before following him out the door.

As it turned out, the massiveness of the packhouse on the outside doesn't even begin to tell you of the massiveness on the inside. There was one of everything, like an entire town in one building.

"Do you ever go anywhere?" I asked as we entered another hallway. "You have everything in here."

Nixx chuckled before saying, "Not everything, and you haven't even seen the best part yet." He opened a white door on the left as he added, "Well, I consider it the best part. I haven't shown anyone else."

Warmth spread like wildfire through my chest, and I dawned a stupid grin as I followed him through the door.

It was another dark hallway, but it didn't take long until a second white door was opened, and I gasped as I entered behind him.

It was a glass-encased wonderland.

Flowers of every single shade you could think of dotted the ground in a colourful chaos of petals. Sunlight poured through transparent walls of light, and brightness radiated in every corner. Vines of intricate green climbed the walls, and little flowers were starting to bloom on each one. It was immaculate.

"It's beautiful," I breathed, awestruck.

He put his hands in his pockets as he glanced around the room with a smile.

"My mother was quite fond of greenhouses and flowers. I made this in her honour."

My grin only grew, surely taking up my entire face now.

"See?" I said to him. "A big old teddy bear."

He rolled his eyes, but a light smile still rested on his lips.

How did we end up with such a wonderful mate? My wolf asked.

It was weird, but I thought I could feel her swooning.

What's a mate? I asked.

Incredulous confusion filled my head, but it wasn't mine.

You don't know what a mate is?
