"You'd think he'd run out of rocks," I muttered.

"Swim for it!" Grover yelled.

Clarisse, Grover and Annabeth plunged into the surf. I hung onto Percy's neck, the soggy Fleece wrapped around me felt like I put on a ton.

The monsters attention wasn't on the Fleece though.

"You, young Cyclopes!" Polyphemus roared. "Traitor to your kind!"

Tyson froze.

"Don't listen to him!" Percy pleaded. "Come on."

He pulled at Tyson's arm but he spun to face the older Cyclopes. "I am not a traitor."

"You serve mortals!" Polyphemus shouted.

He threw a boulder after Tyson but he swatted it aside with his fist.

"Not a traitor," Tyson said. "And you are not my kind."

Polyphemus charged into the surf, but his foot was wounded so he face planted. I let out a small giggle but stopped myself. "Sorry, not the right time."

"Percy!" Clarisse yelled. "Come on!"

They were almost at the ship. Percy looked down at me.

"I have an idea..." he said.

"What?" I asked. "Wait I know that look—"

Suddenly the waves started to pull me towards the ship, leaving Percy behind.

"Dude!" I yelled.

Percy looked at me sadly before turning to Tyson. They both nodded and charged the Cyclopes.

The Cyclopes advanced carefully, limping worse than ever. There was nothing wrong with his throwing arm though.

I finally reached the ship, with Annabeth pulling me onboard.

"Are you okay?" She asked.
