"Hah...? Wait, where...?" Hya asked herself quietly, looking around the big room she's in.

She saw she was underneath a mirror dressing table...

It seems like she's in some sort of dressing room, but this place was big for her to even look around, but she didn't want to turn into her human form as she thinks someone might walk in and see her

Once she was about to come out from under the dresser table, she heard voices from there

"I beg to differ. It's a high-powered vacuum. I finally put that master's degree in engineering to good use." Crimp, Velvet and Veneer's assistant, said and pulled out a few pieces of fruits, while Hya watching from underneath the dresser table before running quickly to the chair without being spotted and hid under there

And there, she saw him... Floyd, trapped in a diamond bottle prison

"Dad...?" She said to herself quietly in shock and confusion

"See? You just pop the grape, or strawberry, or blueberry or guava slice, right in here." Crimp said and closes the diamond-faceted lid

"And it releases the fruit essence through here."

"Essence...?" Hya said in confusion, before realization struck in

"No... no, no, no. Velvet's tricking their assistant with her lies into making that device... so she can use it on Dad. Oh god, no, no, no..." She said in silent panic

"Once you're on stage, lightly tap this button, just delicately, you know, like, once." Crimp said before delicately presses the button and the fruits essence was about to start

But Velvet suddenly snatches the shoulder pads, putting Floyd in it and puts it on herself

"Oh! Oh my god, wait! Wait!" Crimp said, trying to stop Velvet as Velvet repeatedly presses the button to drain Floyd's music talent essence

"Dad...!" Hya said in panic but she didn't came out from underneath the chair and covered her mouth

At that moment, after Velvet absorbed Floyd's talent essence, her vocals became more powerful and better than before

"Our parents were nobodies and we were nobodies, and when I met you, you were literally sucking your thumb and pooping all over the place!" Velvet said, complaining and sitting on the chair of the dresser table, which where Hya was hiding right now

"You met me when I was a baby, so--"

"All over the place, it was nuts!" Velvet said before standing up from the chair, still had the diamond bottle Floyd was trapped in, in her hands

"You don't wanna give up all the yachts and the bling and your illegal pet monkey, do you?" Velvet asked, which made Veneer laugh nervously

"Okay, I made my peace with it. Great job, Cringe." Veneer said to Crimp
